KnowBe4 Unveils Complimentary Resource Kit for Cybersecurity Awareness Month

KnowBe4 has launched its seventh annual Cybersecurity Awareness resource kit to assist organisations during Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025. This complimentary resource kit is designed to enhance human risk management efforts in alignment with this year’s theme, “Secure Our World”. The theme emphasises practical measures to safeguard digital environments, including strong password practices, non-phishable multifactor authentication, recognising phishing attempts, reporting suspicious activities, and keeping software updated. Established in 2004 through a collaboration between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance, Cybersecurity Awareness Month has become a vital period for organisations to review and improve their security practices.

This year’s resource kit features an engaging arcade-style approach, making it accessible for organisations of all sizes and sectors. It aims to foster a security-conscious culture by equipping employees with both the knowledge and understanding of secure practices. Erich Kron, Security Awareness Advocate at KnowBe4, highlights the importance of focusing on human risk management each October. The kit includes character cards depicting “Arcade Villain” threats in a retro eight-bit style, along with training modules like “Insights From a Hacker” and “AI, Phishing, and Cybersafety”, available in up to 36 languages. The materials are suitable for both physical and digital environments, complemented by a detailed weekly planner to help structure cybersecurity awareness activities throughout October. By promoting accessible and understandable security behaviours, KnowBe4 aims to help organisations establish lasting practices that extend beyond the awareness month.
