Jamie Norton Appointed Vice Chair of ISACA Board for 2025-2026
Jamie Norton has been appointed as Vice Chair of the ISACA Global Board for the 2025–2026 term. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, Norton will take on this role as part of ISACA’s commitment to enhancing its global leadership. He joins Chair John De Santis, a technology executive from the United States, to lead a diverse team of 13 directors from regions including the US, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. The newly announced board also features Dr Tim Sattler from Germany as a new addition, alongside returning directors from various global regions. The full board was formally installed during ISACA’s Annual General Meeting in Chicago, which coincided with the inaugural ISACA Awareness Day in Illinois, celebrating the organisation’s contributions to cybersecurity, governance, risk, and assurance.
With over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, governance, AI safety, and risk management, Jamie Norton brings a wealth of knowledge to the board. His career spans both public and private sectors, including roles as a partner at McGrathNicol and Chief Information Security Officer for the Australian Taxation Office. As a long-standing member of ISACA, he has actively contributed to local and global initiatives, including the globally recognised CISM certification program and Australia’s Cyber Security Strategy. Reflecting on his appointment, Norton expressed his commitment to strengthening the global community of digital trust professionals and supporting a diverse pipeline of future leaders. ISACA CEO Erik Prusch welcomed the new board directors, acknowledging their significant contributions to the organisation and the industries they represent.
