Broadcom Enhances VMware Cloud with Advanced Compliance and Security Features for Improved SEO.

Broadcom has introduced significant cyber compliance and security updates to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and its associated services, specifically targeting the needs of organisations operating private clouds in regulated sectors. As cyber resilience and compliance become increasingly critical, statistics reveal that 65% of attacks on large firms result in data encryption, while 30% involve data exfiltration. Multinational enterprises face considerable regulatory challenges, with 71% struggling to meet compliance requirements across borders. The latest enhancements aim to assist customers in navigating these complexities, particularly those arising from intricate regulatory environments and the security demands of AI-driven workloads.

The newly launched VCF Advanced Cyber Compliance service is designed to facilitate cyber-risk governance and compliance management at scale. By leveraging VCF SaltStack capabilities, this service enables automated monitoring, remediation, and continuous compliance enforcement, providing enhanced visibility across VCF environments. Customers will benefit from managed and secure data engine images, enterprise support, and automated patching to strengthen compliance for critical databases. The service also includes fully automated cyber and disaster recovery functionalities for on-premises VCF clean rooms, offering integrated push-button virtual machine network isolation for rapid recovery from ransomware incidents and other IT disruptions. Additional features encompass secure-by-design container images, advanced secure computing for improved infrastructure protection, continual compliance risk assessments, and early access to compliance updates.
