SentinelOne is set to acquire Observo AI, a move that will strengthen its SIEM capabilities and enhance security operations.

SentinelOne has announced its intent to acquire Observo AI, a move that will enhance its AI SIEM and data offerings, which are among the company’s fastest-growing solutions. This acquisition is expected to serve as a catalyst for SentinelOne, contributing to record quarterly bookings in Q2 FY26. The integration of Observo AI will help SentinelOne usher in a new era of open, intelligent, and autonomous security operations, fundamentally transforming how Security Operations Centre (SOC) teams collect, enrich, and act on data across their security ecosystems. This announcement comes at a time when security operations teams face challenges related to rising costs, complexity, and delays due to increasing security data volumes, which often lead to compromises that diminish visibility and slow response times.

Observo AI provides an AI-native, real-time telemetry pipeline that ingests, enriches, summarises, and routes data across enterprises before it reaches a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system or data lake. This capability empowers customers to significantly reduce costs, enhance detection, and respond more swiftly to threats. Tomer Weingarten, CEO of SentinelOne, emphasised that security fundamentally revolves around data, and traditional, rules-based data pipeline platforms are ill-equipped for today’s expansive attack surfaces and data-rich security operations. With Observo AI, SentinelOne aims to offer a modern alternative that breaks down silos and unlocks the value of all security data, redefining the data pipeline as policy-driven, adaptive, and optimised for Autonomous SOCs. This will enable SOC teams to resolve threats more quickly, reduce data costs, and simplify operations across their environments.
