SailPoint Introduces AI-Powered Platform for Accelerated Application Governance

SailPoint has launched SailPoint Accelerated Application Management, a solution aimed at assisting enterprises in discovering, governing, and securing applications at scale. The company highlighted that many businesses currently manage fewer than 50 applications, leaving numerous others unmanaged and increasing the risk of vulnerabilities outside of identity governance. Traditional methods of connecting applications to identity security tools are often complex, requiring extensive expertise and time-consuming manual processes. SailPoint’s new solution simplifies the governance process, addressing these risks effectively.

The SailPoint Accelerated Application Management system integrates continuous application discovery, automated onboarding, risk-based prioritisation, and automated governance workflows. Built on the SailPoint Atlas platform, it leverages artificial intelligence-driven insights and automation to bolster security, policy enforcement, and compliance efforts. Key features include zero-touch onboarding, rapid deployment of access reviews, and advanced automation for provisioning and deprovisioning. SailPoint asserts that organisations can bring hundreds of applications under governance within days, enhancing their security posture while reducing reliance on internal resources through expert-led services and tailored support packages.
