Cyera introduces AI Guardian to enhance the security of various AI systems.
Cyera has launched AI Guardian, a comprehensive solution designed to secure various types of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as enterprises increasingly adopt AI at scale. This new offering expands Cyera’s platform and is anchored by two core products: AI-SPM, which provides a granular inventory of all AI assets, and AI Runtime Protection, which monitors and responds to AI data risks in real-time. The launch comes at a critical time, as a Forrester report indicates that 61% of enterprises are utilising generative AI or a combination of generative and predictive AI. Furthermore, 23% of enterprises have reported an uptick in AI-based cyberattacks over the past year, with 20% experiencing slowed innovation due to unforeseen AI risks.
Yotam Segev, CEO of Cyera, emphasises the importance of data security in AI, stating, “Data is the heart and soul of AI—secure it, and enterprises can keep pushing boundaries without losing control or risking exposure.” AI Guardian is built on the same principles as Cyera’s Data Security Platform, moving beyond basic visibility to uncover who has access to sensitive data and how it is being used. AI-SPM and AI Runtime Protection work in conjunction with Cyera’s Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and OmniDLP products, offering broad coverage across all AI systems, deep visibility into sensitive data access, real-time detection and response to threats, and proactive compliance readiness with regulations such as the EU AI Act and US executive orders.
